Start the day as you mean to go on
First day back at work. The weather across Britain was horrific. I ended up soaked through before I even made it to the bus stop, causing a miserable day in work with wet clothes and what felt like trenchfoot!
Finished the day off watching Sherlock Holmes with the parents, but that wasn’t a brilliant film. Ah well, bring on tomorrow!
January 2nd 2012
Today consisted of me waking up and feeling thoroughly rotten, so instead of the country walk I planned, I spent the day drinking tea, watching Firefly, reading Pride and Prejudice fanfiction and painting my nails. Tonight I’m going to drink more tea, eat Maltesers and watch Zombieland.
I’d like to think this year’s resolutions are pretty damn realistic

New Year’s Day dinner, with my parents and sister. This was desperately needed after the night before, and a great way to start 2012 - good food and my awesome family.
